It’s all about fresh, tasty ingredients cooked in a style influenced by Middle Eastern and North African cuisine. Fire, exotic spices, variety and healthy and delicious innovations are the main focus of this book, which contains more than a hundred recipes that have graced the Sumac menu.

Þráinn Freyr Vigfússon has worked in many prestigious restaurants in Iceland and abroad. He opened the restaurants Sumac and ÓX in Reykjavík in 2017. Þráinn has been chosen chef of the year in Iceland, competed for Iceland in Bocuse d’Or and has been a member and coach of the Icelandic Culinary Team.
